What happens at your dog's full groom
The groomer's own checklist. Most full grooms take 1½ to 2 hours.
A quiet arrival
By appointment only, so there are no other dogs and no barking. Free parking right outside.
A gentle once-over
A full check for lumps, bumps and skin problems. Nails and dew claws trimmed, ears and eyes cleaned. Ears plucked or glands seen to only if needed.
A warm bath
Cruelty-free, vegan-friendly shampoo with plant extracts. No parabens, sulphates, DEA or artificial colours.
Dried by hand
Never cage dried, never crated. Knots and loose undercoat brushed out, with a de-shed for double coats.
Clipped and scissored
To breed standard, or exactly how you like it.
Cuddles, then home
Lots of cuddles and TLC. We'll ring you when your dog is ready to collect.

Owners often ask
How long will your dog be with you?
Most full grooms take 1½ to 2 hours, depending on breed and coat. We'll ring you when they're ready.
What if they don't like other dogs?
Not a problem. Grooming is strictly one-to-one, so there's never another dog in the salon.
Can I bring treats?
Please do. Treats and praise are used throughout, and plenty of dogs have allergies, so bring the ones they love.
The coat is matted. Can you brush it out?
A few tangles, yes. Heavy matting hurts to brush out, so the kindest option is often to clip short and start again.
When should a puppy start?
Brush at home from day one. Once vaccinations are done, usually around 12 weeks, the Puppy Package eases them in.
Can you use my vet's shampoo?
Yes, as long as it's clearly labelled with instructions.
